Green Lake Trek

The most famous yet rarely trekked route of eastern Himalayas. This trek is a gem of North Sikkim. The solitude and natural beauty surpasses other treks of Himalayas. A mesmerizing view of a completely different face of Mt. Kanchenjunga and her mighty allies - Mt. Siniolchu, Mt. Shimvo, Mt. Sugarloaf, Zemu peak, Nepal peak and many other peaks.
The trail is full of natural diversity with a few thousands of flora species like fern, bamboo, pine, beech, birch, cyprus, silver fir, rhododendrons, small plant, saplings, colorful mosses surrounds you. From the thickest of the forests to the high passes with grassland and meadows.
You camp under ancient trees, rhododendron thickets, vast meadows, river banks and under the mightiest of the mountains. This visual diversity and changing landscape will give you a never forgettable experience.

Day 01:
Drive from NJP/Bagdogra – Gangtok (4 hrs).

Day 02:
Drive from Gangtok - Lachen (5 hrs).

Day 03:
Drive from Lachen to Zema 1, then trek from Zema 1 to Talem (6 hrs).

Day 04:
Trek from Talem to Jakthang (4 hrs).

Day 05:
Trek from Jakthang to Yabuk (5-6 hrs).

Day 06:
Trek from Yabuk to Rest Camp (5-6 hrs).

Day 07:
Trek from Rest Camp to Green Lake Camp site (2 hrs)

Day 08:
Trek from Green Lake Camp site to Green Lake and back to Camp Site

Day 09:
Trek from Green Lake to Yabuk (4 hrs)

Day 10:
Trek from Yabuk to Talem (6-7 hrs)

Day 11:
Trek from Talem to Zema 1, then drive from Zema 1 to Lachen (6 hrs)

Day 12:
Drive from Lachen to Gangtok

Day 13:
Drive from Gangtok to NJP/Bagdogra
